Sheffield Indoor Trial this Saturday 7 January

bou_indoor_2This Saturday, January 7 , one of the most mythical races on the Indoor calendar will take place: the Sheffield Indoor Trial. Historically, it has been an inaugural round of the World Championship, but for some editions it has not been scored. This does not prevent the best riders in the world from travelling to the Sheffield Arena to take the pulse of the modality that will define the first World Champion of 2012.

In Sheffield will be the undisputed world number one, Toni Bou, accompanied by Takahisa Fujinami, Adam Raga and Jeroni Fajardo , who will probably come with his new Beta EVO, although there is still no official confirmation of the rider’s status. Alongside them will be the British riders, for whom this event is very important.

We will see the British champion James Dabill, Michael Brown and the young Jack Challoner, who by the way starred in a spectacular fall in one of the zones. Also Dougie Lampkin will be making his seventeenth consecutive appearance in Sheffield, although there is speculation that it could be his last.

In short, four hours of action and quality trials to start 2012. Let’s see who is lucky enough to see it live!
