Red Bull Scrapyard | Pilots, Not Pirates

Video. Fixed plane. The peace and calm of the camp is shattered when Adam Raga and Alfredo Gómez are chased by the security forces, without us knowing why…
Raga and Gómez are just two of the thousands of off-road riders who cannot practice their sport in their natural environment, off the roads on which practically all citizens circulate. All this limits the development of the type of sports activities of which they are the standard-bearers worldwide: Trial and Extreme Enduro.
“The situation is complicated. The abuse of nature is very bad, but the fact that you can’t drive in certain areas – private farms, firebreaks, abandoned trails – doesn’t make sense either,” explains Alfredo.
“It’s unfair that we’re being treated like criminals and being told that we’ve destroyed the mountain. A trial bike has minimal impact, and when needed, we help in any way possible, because we love nature,” adds Adam.
“There should be legislation, as is the case with hunting, for example, with reserved spaces in which a fee is paid,” Alfredo concludes.
In the video, the two pilots arrive at the largest scrapyard in Europe, in Benavente, where they discover a new place to recreate, but again they are chased by the security of the Zamora enclosure…
What have they done to be persecuted like this? Are they pilots or pirates? How will the chase end in the scrapyard?
