Raga wins in Strasbourg

raga_estrasburgoThe double world champion, Adam Raga, won the Indoor Trial held last weekend in Zenith, Strasbourg. In a very selective Trial, not scoring for the Indoor World Championship, Raga had the opportunity to give a recital to all the spectators and improve his form for the next official races of the calendar, such as the one this coming Saturday 22nd in Marseille (France).

The route, spectacularly illuminated and high up, consisted of five areas with wood, stone, concrete, logs and large electric coils. In less than 7 minutes the entire route had to be completed. As expected, Raga made his talent and experience count, dominating the race with an iron fist from start to finish.

According to Raga: “Everything went very well, the crowd was totally involved and the areas were quite select, so I enjoyed it enormously. It would be great news for me if this event were included in the official calendar, as it has all the incentives.”

Raga scored a final score of 8 points, to James Dabill’s 21 in his second race as an official Beta driver, with Frenchman Alexandre Ferrer completing the places of honour. Another of the guest stars was Loris Gubian, Gas Gas pilot, who on the other hand did not enjoy a comfortable night due to the large number of mistakes made. The French rider himself declared his intention to gather all his efforts to give his best next Saturday 22nd in Marseille.

Final score at Zenith:

1) Adam Raga: 8 points.

2) James Dabill: 21 points.

3) Alexandre Ferrer: 24 points.

4) Loris Gubian: 38 points.
