The most obvious thing is the very careful polished aluminum workmanship of the ends of the new shock absorbers, but there are several aspects of the Ultimate that are of great interest such as the Possibility to adjust the length of the shock absorbers, even without the need to remove them from the motorcycle, or the adjustment of the preload by means of a thread system. Both are a great help in finding the ideal set-up.
NJB has been producing shock absorbers for classic motorcycles since 1990.
The new NJB Ultimate shock absorbers adopt an extra-soft hydraulic setting and larger, more elastic rubber bumpers, as well as a mechanical stop system inside the shock. In this way, the behavior of the Ultimate is brought closer to that of the monoshock shock absorbers of modern motorcycles.
To maintain the look of classic motorcycles, the Ultimate can be mounted in any position, i.e. with the stem at the top or bottom.
The Ultimate are gas shock absorbers with a large diameter rod and reinforced piston. To increase durability, the piston sliding area is made of chrome-plated steel.
