Toni Bou has everything in his favour to be proclaimed Indoor Trial World Champion for the sixth time in a row. He only has to solve an easy task for a rider of his career: to finish in the top five classified in the Milan Indoor Trial, which will be held this Saturday, March 17.

The five consecutive victories accumulated by the rider from Piera have forged a comfortable cushion of 34 points against his closest pursuer: Albert Cabestany. This, however, will have to be used to the maximum to maintain the short three-point advantage that has been given to it.He is currently runner-up in the world championship to Adam Raga.

Although Bou’s role is relatively straightforward, it has yet to happen and overcome any setbacks that might present itself. It will be enough for him to beat at least two riders. Pol Tarrés is on the entry list, replacing Alfredo Gómez, who preferred to focus on an Enduro competition with which this event coincided. It will therefore be the third opportunity that the JTG has to pass the qualifying round.

We’re expecting a nice duel in Milan. If you want to follow it, we invite you to do so from our Twitter @trialworld.
