World Champion Toni Bou (Repsol Honda) arrives at this event as the leader of the 2020 Championship after winning the first two rounds of the season that took place on the island of La Réunion and Rennes. Bou won the last edition of the X-Trial Budapest, succeeding Adam Raga (TRRS) in the list of winners of the race, who won in the first visit to the Hungarian capital and occupies second place in the provisional classification, 10 points behind Bou after having accumulated two second positions.
Jeroni Fajardo X-Trial
The other riders who have been on the podium so far and, foreseeably, will fight to do so again, are Jaime Busto (Vertigo) and Jeroni Fajardo (Sherco). Both are aiming to be among the best along with Miquel Gelabert (Vertigo) who has accumulated two fourth positions and Benoit Bincaz (Beta) who started the season with physical problems.
For his part, Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) arrives in Budapest ready to demonstrate his status as Permanent Driver of the Championship with his performance. Also competing at the highest level and without giving up on fighting for a position in the top three, will be the Gas Gas rider Jorge Casales, who opened the season in La Réunion with a fifth position.
