The 2017 Outdoor Trial World Championship is presented with important novelties from the hand of its new promoter will be Sport7. Manufacturers’ Championship Standings:
The brands in 2017 will designate one rider from the TrialGP category and one from the Trial2 category for the points for the manufacturers’ championship.
Number of Trial races 2017:
Races will also not be discounted for the final result of the championship. In compensation, the Trial 125 category is called in a total of 5 Grands Prix, while Trial2 and TrialGP will contest a total of 8 races.
Changes are also announced in the Women’s Trial World Championship. They will continue to have three scoring races, but the last one will not coincide with the Trial of Nations, as usual, but the girls will travel to the United States, Italy and the Czech Republic.
THE 2017 TRIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP KICKS OFF IN SPAIN
Spain will host two Trial Grands Prix in 2017. The first will be the opening event of the calendar and will take place in the Girona town of Camprodón on May 13 and 14, while the second test will be in Baiona, on September 23 and 24, on the occasion of the Trial of Nations.
